   REVELATION EPISODE 17 New Jerusalem pearly gates and lake of fireThe New Creation: God Dwelling with HumanityWe have reached one of the most extraordinary moments in the Book of Revelation: chapters 21 and 22. Revelation 19 describes Christ’s victorious appearing and the defeat of the beast and the false prophet. Revelation 20 has taken us through the Millennium, Satan’s final rebellion, and the Great White Throne judgment and we see that death and hades are thrown into the lake of fire – the place of destruction of what is evil – death will be no more and the grave will be no more, Hallelujah!. John then sees a new heaven and a new earth. Revelation 21:1–4 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. And there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” He gives the water of life freely to the thirsty, and the overcomer inherits all things. The passage also speaks solemnly of the second death and of those whose lives remain marked by evil - and resistant to the Holy Spirit’s work of the refining fire of the trials of our faith. That fire is working upon on us now, every moment of our lives. The more you live in it the more you live – in it. Don’t say in and hour I’ll have more time – now is always the time – 10 seconds… we’re going to consciously do that now for 10 seconds and connect to the presence of God. And all you need to think is -Thank you Jesus for working now to bring the perfect will of God into my life…I’ll say that again then I’ll say connect…connect…then let that prayer stay lingering in your soul as I resume sharing in the word…. We will be talking about the lake of fire later, but let me tell you how fire purifies and heals the soul. 1Corinthian 3:10 I laid a foundation, and others build upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.I’ve come to know what that fire feels like and I know what it’s doing and I know now what being baptized with the Holy Spirit and fire means. It’s the fire burning off the wood hay and straw of my resistance to God, insofar as me doing things my way and not his. And I know the peace that comes when I cease to resist his love and truth. I know that everyone in the world is experiencing that fire but I don’t see fire everywhere, just the pain and suffering – everywhere! So I know that the lake of fire in Revelation necessarily has

   REVELATION Ep 16 Millenium and Two Nations

   REVELATION EPISODE 16 "Millenium and Two Nations"Revelation 19–20 presents Christ’s return, the defeat of the beast system, the binding of Satan, and the first resurrection. There is also the millennial reign ending with a final deception when Satan is released, and a final rebellion of mortal nations, then the great white throne judgement. (camera angle 7 of the three and a half years tribulation) THE MARRIAGE SUPPER AND THE SECOND COMINGRevelation 19:6–9 — “hallelujah! For the lord our god the almighty reigns… for the marriage of the lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready… blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the lamb.”The bride prepares to celebrate the marriage supper which leads directly into the vision of Christ returning on the white horse.Revelation 19:11 — “I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called faithful and true, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.”The white horse of revelation 19 provides the ultimate fulfilment of the conquering imagery introduced by the white horse of revelation 6. Christ returns with the armies of heaven, including the glorified saints and the heavenly host (rev. 1:7; 19:14; 2 Thess1:7–12; 1 Thess. 4:15–17; Jude 14). The armies of the earth are gathered against him (Rev. 19:19).Christ judges the beast and false prophet and all the rebellious armies at Armageddon are destroyed. The antichrist and false prophet are thrown directly into the lake of fire (Rev. 19:20). Christ establishes his kingdom. The faithfulness and service and works of the saints are also brought before God for examination and reward. ARMAGEDDON — A TARGETED JUDGMENTRevelation 19 describes he decisive victory of Christ and his armies against the beast, false prophet, certain kings of the earth and their assembled armies. For you have said in your heart: I will ascend into heaven,I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north;I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,I will be like the Most High.’ [THE FIVE I WILLS]Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit. “Those who see you will gaze at you, And consider you, saying: ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble,Who shook kingdoms, Who made the world as a wilderness And destroyed its cities, Who did not open the house of his prisoners?’“All the kings of the nations, All of them, sleep in glory, Everyone in his own house; But you are cast out of your grave Like an abominable branch, Like the garment of those who are slain, Thrust through with a sword, Who go down to the stones of the pit, Like a corpse trodden underfoot. You will not be joined with them in burial, Because you have destroyed your land And slain your people. The Bible does not say that every unbelieving person on earth is killed at Christ’s return because it was gigantic host of armies at Armageddon in the Middle East who waged this battle.. This distinction between the gathered armies and the broader nations is important.Zechariah 14:16 — “everyone who survives of all the nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year after year to worship the king, the lord of hosts.”This prophecy of the second coming shows that there is therefore not a total wipeout o

   Reframing Eternity with Scott Kardash

   REFRAMING ETERNITY: HOW VICTORIOUS WILL JESUS ACTUALLY BE?Speaker: Scott Kardash"...the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost (those perishing)." (Slide 1) Right, so we worship a mighty God who never changes. And you saw at the end there, every knee will bow. And that's a picture of how all this is going to end. And today I wanted to give you an idea of my journey. And so I want to talk to it from a more personal point of view of some changes I've made in how I view the Bible and what it teaches, and how all this is going to end, and even my view of God. And I want to take you through some elements which have been linchpins in that, in how I read the Bible. Hopefully you'll get something from that yourself, or at least food for thought. Over the last few times I've just summarised, when I've spoken here, what I've been talking about because it kind of leads into this. THE PARADIGM SHIFT: VIEWING OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE DIFFERENTLY (Slide 2) So viewing our Christian life differently is what I've been doing. And so previously I had a separation lens, and I think many of us have had that growing up in a traditional church where salvation is a legal loophole or transactional ticket to escape to a distant heaven. Prayer was calling up to the sky to reach a distant and perhaps reluctant God. Discipleship was trying hard to obey the rules of a far-off boss. So it was an upward straining. And love was kind of a moral to-do list to be nice to others. You know, "I don't really like that person, but I feel like, you know, I probably should because God told me to." So if you look at that left-hand side... in a sense, it's all about sin management, right? So think of the Ten Commandments, it was all about sin management, where your heart necessarily hadn't changed, but you didn't do things because you were told not to do things, even though you wanted to. On the right-hand side, the lens changes completely to where the law isn't written on stone anymore, it's written on our hearts. If I don't lust after a woman, I won't be committing adultery. If I'm out there working to generate income to give generously to other people, then I'm not going to be out there stealing. So I don't need a rule to stop stealing. If I'm not angry with people and I'm loving them, I'm not going to be tempted to murder them. That's the difference between living out of the law, where it's written on stone, and where the law is written on our hearts. On the oneness side, there's a lifelong process of healing, transformation, and being united with God right now, not when we get to heaven. Tuning into the divine presence that is already holding you together. So nothing exists outside of God. In Him we have our being and we live and move in Him. There's no such thing as we're separated from God, He's separate from us, and we're existing outside of God. The Bible teaches that's impossible. He's everywhere, and without Him life isn't even sustained. Waking up to the reality, to the vine. Who's the vine? The vine is Jesus. And allowing His life to flow through you. So that's the downward flow, not the upward flow of striving. And living in harmony with our shared biological and spiritual reality, we are members of one body. And ultimately, Christ is all in all. And in other passages, it says God is all in all. So that's the end game. And we're all on a journey to get there. Everybody is on a different stage of that journey. Some haven't begun, some are going in completely the wrong direction, and others are well along the way of that journey. And it's the Holy Spirit which prompts us to do that. So we can ignore the Holy Spirit or we can follow Him. MAPPING THE FINAL STATE OF CREATION (Slide 3) And I wanted to present three common views of how this will all end. Eternal conscious torment... that was a view that I was firmly cemented in for most of my life, and I had good reasons for believing that.
