What you're missing in Psalm 30 then is that it says a psalm of David a song at the dedication of the temple. And that sets the context of the psalm, but it also makes you really think of, I mean, David wasn't there at the dedication of the temple. It happened after he died. Remember, it was Solomon who did it, but David made provision for it, and he stored up all the money and wood and supplies and everything, and he kind of set Solomon up for success on that project and even wrote this psalm to be used at that time.
