[…] And those who can't afford to buy their own homes don't get any of those benefits. And what it does is it actually exacerbates the inequity between those two systems. It basically locks it in and it says, well, sorry, you're too poor to get in in the first place. Therefore, and we've got people who are investors and they don't want to have to spend any money on their investment. you know, therefore you just have to suck that up. And that's actually really, really fundamentally unfair. And that's why governments are stepping in because governments appreciate now, I think much more than they have in the past, that renters do have rights, that those rights aren't being well represented in the energy efficiency space. […]
