[…] Sure. I'm someone who knew for a long time that I wanted to do something in the healthcare field. As you mentioned, I got my undergraduate bachelor's degree from Indiana University, and at my time there, I was fortunate to be able to spend some time shadowing and spending time clinically and personally with folks in a lot of different areas of healthcare and kind of whittled down my interest and decided I didn't want to be a surgeon and wanted to provide kind of day-to-day face-to-face immediately impactful care for people and optometry was one of the things that I was exposed to that I kind of really connected with and fell in love with the immediacy of it, some of the relationships that were able to be built.
