Kelly Ransier is back for this year's Road to the 5 Boroughs series! Last year, Kelly was on the pod to chat about running a virtual marathon to get guaranteed entry into this year's New York City Marathon. She's trading in her volunteer jacket this year for a race bib and taking on the 5 boroughs herself.

Don’s endurance journey is one of my favorites because he didn’t start out as an athlete. He got into triathlon later in life, went from borrowing a bike and learning how to swim to racing Ironmans, qualifying for Kona, running Boston, and eventually turning a simple Sharpie habit into My Race Tatts.
We get into Don’s journey into endurance sports, the mental side of racing, visualization, self-belief, and what happens when your brain starts telling you that you can’t keep going.
