I don't know if Larry Borum needs to be on the field ever for any reason, but I don't believe he needs to be on the field nearly as often as he is. I know the 13 personnel is the new hotness right now. Sean McVay did it, so why can't we? I get all of that, but the Lions have got to figure out some things that they can do really, really well and get to them. They also need to look at how they're attacking defenses. Again, tip of the cap to Jeff Risdon. He pointed this out in game. The only part of that defense for Carolina that was intact and ready to go was the middle of the defensive line, and that is exactly where the Lions kept sending Jameer Gibbs. […]
