But this 1950-52 Old Time crime Series focused on the exploits of the Texas Rangers and provided keen insights into the work of one most storied police forces in the world and vital nature of their work investigating major crimes across the state of Texas, often operating hundreds of miles away from the metropolitan resources that other fictional lawmen enjoyed.<br /><br />Ranger Jayce Pearson (Joel McCrea) portrays the resourcefulness, and ingenuity of the Texas Rangers as he investigates everything from cattle theft, arson, robberies, and shocking murders in rural areas with not witnesses and few clues in cases, many of which were taken from the files of the Texas Rangers.<br /><br />Host  Adam Graham presents every circulating episode of the series and includes his commentary after each episode as well as responding to listener comments and feedback.
