[…] Well, there was an undauntedness to it. It was amazing to see him step into some really big moments. You mentioned earlier there were two times we were down 17 points, and there was nothing that we were doing defensively to support the offense. We weren't bridging the gap between the phases with strong special teams play. The game was a debacle in a lot of ways for us, and yet this kid, Jared Curtis, stepped into the moment he operated within the system he found ways to create in ways that only he can do and um he he got us back in that game and we synced up just enough in the second half to to um to plot our course to be within striking distance at the end um intermixed in there are some freshman moments which are going to happen but um it was a courageous performance and and again when he's in that competitive moment you know his eyes are bright And his jaw is set.
