Daniel & David get together this week to analyse what has actually been quite a few busy weeks in tech. Samsung, with ANOTHER launch, have thrown out the Galaxy Z TriFold, and the boys discussed the viability of a phone that unfolds into an actual tablet. This then prompted David to discuss what the actual point is of tablets and, more specifically, iPads.
Attention turned pretty sharply towards YouTube, as big news out of Australia is that the government has BLOCKED & BANNED all social media for under-16s in a crackdown on cyberbullying and targeted algorithms. In amongst that ban is YouTube, and Daniel & David discuss the benefits, but also the very real concerns of blocking out the youth from something as positive as YouTube might cause.
Apple are seeing mass executive exodus in droves in the last week, Daniel updates on studio life and gives insights into the corporate Samsung world & Australia is smashing England in the ashes. All that and more in Episode 99 of Minus Sixteen!

Why thin phones are DEAD | Ep 98
The boys are back as a trio this week, with Alex making his return. The chat kicks off strong with the inquisition over why thin phones never took off. With rumours of Apple scaling back the iPhone Air and Samsung delaying (or cancelling) the S26 Edge, the boys discuss what has led to this and what would need to change for them to be successful.
Alex has some new phone hardware to talk about with Honor & Oppo devices on deck, whilst David highlights Apple focusing on services and how it is a sound business strategy.
The strongest views of the night (pun intended) comes from the YouTube chat. It is becoming more and more prominent that to win in the space of YouTube, you have to game the system with bought views. Brands, however, are slowly cluing on to what is happening and becoming aware of the fraud taking place. The boys share their own experiences and how it actually is impacting their careers and partnerships with prospective sponsors.
