[…] I think that you can definitely, if you are by nature a very compassionate, kind person and you go into the profession for that reason, it can be very easy to slip into a role in the classroom as like a leader that is a bit more permissive. And that's not you being too kind, that's you being too permissive. We can balance the compassion and the kindness and kindness the love that we have for our job and the care that we have for our students with being a really strong, credible teacher. So I don't think you can be too nice, but it's just about balancing the niceties and the way that we build rapport with our students and the compassion that we show them with those other things that make us a really strong classroom leader as well.
