In rural areas where H5N1 mostly spills over, there's very little clinical support to look at that. Mm-hmm. But we do have more and more geo-referenced outbreak data sets for many of these diseases. And that's what they took advantage of in this study. They have geo-referenced human outbreak data for 32 infectious diseases. These include bat viruses with epidemic and pandemics. pandemic potential, rodent-borne pathogens, mosquito-borne arboviruses, and other zoonotic diseases like melioidosis, Crimean Congo hemorrhagic fever, and even malaria, plasmodium nolzi.
