Season 15 wraps up this week, with yet another of our Best Breakout Albums--the 1970 release by Cat Stevens--"Tea for the Tillerman." This LP features the great tunes "Wild World," "Father & Son," and "Hard Headed Woman." Also, a wonderful song that you may hear these days, "Where do the Children Play?"...Next week, Frank & I begin Season 16 with the first of our "Top 14 Best Albums of All-Time," as voted by YOU!!

Tim Friedmann's 70s Rock Conversations Season 15 Episode 13
This week, "Infinity," the 1978 album by the Bay Area's Journey, is our Breakout Album this week as we start closing out Season 15! Once Steve Perry joined the band just before this album, Journey was ready for the big time! In this episode, Frank and I will also have a tribute to the legendary music executive Clive Davis. Next week, we'll finish up Season 15 with a look at yet another breakout album--"Tea for the Tillerman" by Cat Stevens.

Styx is in the spotlight for this week's edition of "70s Rock Conversations, with their Breakout Album, "The Grand Illusion." Just like many other artists who do not hit it big right away, Styx worked on breaking out for the better part of the '70s until they finally cashed-in with this one. Next week, our "Breakout Album" series continues, as Frankie and I take a look at "Infinity" by Journey--the first to feature new lead singer Steve Perry.
