[…] What was the gap in the market that you saw and why set out on this initiative? At the beginning, we were a literary workshop, actually. So about 10 years ago now. Oh, gosh. So what happened is I was still working on my PhD at the University of Toronto. And I was offering a course. I was about to offer a course on Turkish literature in translation. And I was putting together a syllabus. And it was challenging to put together the syllabus because there weren't enough works translated from Turkish into English. Well, there were works, definitely, but the numbers were not many. And having my background in translation studies from Bozice University, I was thinking, what can I do, like, maybe to fill this gap a little bit? […]
