68. The Searchers
I det sextioåttonde avsnittet händer det till slut: Vi djupdyker i filmen som Simon håller högst av alla västernrullar, nämligen John Fords "The Searchers"! Det blir jämförelser med boken den är baserad på och djupa analyser av vad filmen egentligen handlar om. Vad finns det för koppling mellan Twin Peaks och The Searchers? Hur genomtänkta är Ward Bonds raknings-sessioner egentligen? Har Ulf någonsin besökt ”Camp Vargtass” i Ammarnäs? Vi pratar också en hel del om den stundande Countryfestivalen på High Chaparral och vilka akter vi ser mest fram emot. Och Emil bjuder på lite spännande nyheter från Kolser inför den stundande säsongen...

67. Flaskor, eld och manschettknappar
I det sextiosjunde avsnittet har Emil djupdykt en del i vilka flaskor och korkar som lämpar sig väl för vilda västern-eran — hur ligger det till exempel till med bygelkorkarna och de olika varianternas utformning och uppkomst? Simon har kikat en del på manschettknappar och Ulf har blodad tand från vildmarkslivet uppe i norra Sverige (upplevelser som osökt får honom att dra kopplingar till levande historia). Vi bjuder på en hel del film— och TV-spaningar och gläds åt att podden har visat upp sig internationellt! Dessutom recenserar vi och pratar om filmen "Old Henry" (då avsnittet innehåller spoilers så föreslår vi att ni ser filmen innan ni lyssnar på sista segmentet av avsnittet). Och med det önskar vi er trevlig start på västernsäsongen 2026, nu när den sätter fart på allvar!
