Brieven van BN’ers
In een speciale bonusaflevering van Achterwerk komen bekende Nederlanders aan het woord die als kind een brief schreven naar de legendarische brievenrubriek in de VPRO Gids. Hadassah de Boer werd uitgescholden voor vuurtoren vanwege haar rode haar, Aaf Brandt Corstius schreef een brief over haar naam en Roeland Fernhout noemde zijn moeder een ‘truttebol’. Het vriendje van Sofie van den Enk zat tot haar verdriet een jaar in het buitenland en Ingmar Heytze publiceerde op Achterwerk zijn eerste gedicht ‘Gymles’.

Is ecstasy gevaarlijk, vraagt een bezorgde briefschrijver zich af. Daarop reageert de zestienjarige Sander van de Pavert: ‘er is geen reden om je zorgen te maken, ik slik zelf bijna elke week.’ De latere maker van LuckyTV blijkt niet alleen een pleitbezorger van pilletjes, maar ging in de jaren negentig helemaal op in de ravecultuur.

De vijftienjarige Marthe steelt regelmatig uit winkels. In 2011 schrijft ze in een brief naar Achterwerk: ‘het is echt verslavend en zo facking makkelijk’.
