[…] I'm not interacting in the same way. And so, our ability to mask and to kind of meet the social expectations of other people kind of goes away. And that can be a big indicator of burnout. Another one can be that we have more, our sensory needs to become a lot more pronounced. So we might become more sensory sensitive, things start to bother us more. I noticed that when I'm headed for burnout, the beeping on the microwave suddenly becomes really painful. And I might not have noticed it before. It might not have really bothered me before. But all of a sudden, if this sound is painful, it's like an indicator that my system is starting to run on empty and I need to be careful. […]
