D1 Podcast Episode 18 with absolute human Scott Pemberton, hosted by Amar Singh TakharThere's no simple way to write this out, Scott out of nowhere found our he had a rare type of cancer, he was immediately marked as stage 4 and within days of finding out his treatment started. Complication after complication and mistake after mistake led to the horrific scenario of him having to have emergency surgery and his leg being amputated. Put this into perspective. Overnight not only did he get diagnosed with stage 4 cancer his leg was gone. HOWEVER, throughout the entire process Scott the amazing human he is has remained positive, upbeat and honest about his journey. He believes he has been sent this challenge to show others that not only can it be overcome, but that there is more to life then worrying about the little things. Things can always get worse but in his words "there is always a solution"He will overcome this set back and he will beat cancer.Scott, the strength you show on a daily inspires us all and I appreciate the daylights out of you.
