States and communities can do a whole lot more to make sure that young people who grow up in foster care leave connected to families. And one way to do that is improve opportunities for kinship care. Kinship care. What is that? So kinship care really is someone who is either blood related to the child or has a strong relationship to the child and is willing to serve as like a family member to them.
