[…] Their weddings were not able to take place because these soldiers were in active duty and because the army just couldn't bear to lose them. And that was the way it was in February of 2024. Lior Narquist, who we already heard on today's show, decided to do something about it. He founded the Warriors Wedding Project and got a whole bunch of donors. And through these spectacular weddings, for a chayalim whose weddings were disrupted because of the war. And it was a beautiful project, and he got a whole bunch of entertainers to join him at these weddings and to sing with him at these weddings. And for one of them, he got Shlomi Shabbat to come and sing the very, very famous song, Shir L'Ahava, originally by Gaia. […]
