[…] It would also curtail the immediate family members and other people with close connections of those entities from being able to donate as well. So it's estimated it would impact around 900 or so contractors with the state. You know, this would also go on to require something else in the way of political disclosures, where it would require groups to disclose their donors if they run so-called issue advertisements within 100 days of a general election or 30 days before a primary issue. So that means like an outside group that makes, you know, even a tangential reference to a candidate or ballot issue ad, even if they don't explicitly say that a person should vote for or against that effort.
