So on the morning of Sunday, June 27, 2004, Craig prepared to leave his family's home on Yorkshire Court, and he carried his Price Chopper uniform shirt out to his car, giving his parents the impression that he was headed to a scheduled work shift at the supermarket. But in reality, Craig was no longer working at Price Chopper. and he had been terminated from his position approximately a month earlier after failing to show up for multiple shifts. And instead, for several weeks, Craig maintained the illusion of employment, leaving the house on schedule to prevent his parents from finding out. […]
