Why Kat Fahsbender Turned Down Her HYROX Challenger Spot
Kat Fahsbender opens up about a frustrating race at HYROX Boston, where a punishing sled pull left her legs on fire and disrupted everything that followed.
After investing so much in her summer training, Kat explains why the result affected her and contributed to her decision to decline a roll-down opportunity for the HYROX Challenger. She and Morgan Schulz discuss athlete burnout, racing pressure and why receiving an opportunity does not mean you always have to accept it.
Morgan also shares her ongoing struggle to access the asthma medication she needs after her insurance provider determined that her lung function was too strong to qualify. With Hamburg approaching, both athletes reflect on recovery, mental fatigue and prioritising their health.
