[…] Create space for healing your brain. What's left of it after the stroke. My stroke was pretty random. I was born with a blood vessel in my head that burst that I had no control over. And at 37, it popped. But I was smoking, I was drinking, and I was living a lifestyle that was not sustainable. So I changed that part, but I didn't feel bad about myself for having smoked and having drunk when I was more naive about what those types of things could do to my health. I didn't feel terrible or guilty about the fact that perhaps that did contribute to that blood vessel bursting. What I did was I corrected my actions and my behavior from the past so that I don't find myself in that situation again in the future as a result of something that I did. […]
