[…] I'm currently working with the treatment center right now to help them start a children's program. And part of my job is I do a presentation to the patients there. And I always start with, gosh, if you're willing, how many people here grew up in families where there was an addiction problem? And I'll tell you, pretty much everyone raises their hand. So the way I look at it is that the parents, the adults that are going into treatment or going into recovery, going into 12-step meetings are the same little kids from yesterday that never got help themselves. That's why I think this work is so important because we can break that cycle. […]
