81. Bria Savage: Playing the Long Game

Hey friends!

On this episode, I sat down with one of my PT friends who I connected with at the Elite Rehab Basketball Conference last year. Bria Savage is a physical therapist based in Atlanta and is joy to chat with. We talked about her journey, which started with multiple PT school rejections, various travel PT contracts, and more recently a stint with EXOS in Atlanta. Currently, she is focusing on her concierge business, Savage Physical Therapy, where she works with professional athletes, and her non-profit, Transform Her, which is aimed at providing mentorship to girls in STEM. Bria is good people and you know how I know that? She likes milk served over her cornbread. So yall be sure to connect with her!

Enjoy!

Clinical Athlete FB Community: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1AywLk8WCZ/

79. Neville Chu: Being Pain-Free Is Not the Goal You Think It Is

In this episode, I sit down with Physical Therapist and weightlifting coach Neville Chu, founder of Legacy Performance and Rehab. Neville and I chat about his unconventional career path. While he started in a traditional outpatient physical therapy clinic and left to join corporate healthcare, he ultimately returned to patient care by launching his remote coaching and rehab business which focuses on barbell athletes. Neville speaks to his coaching philosophy and challenges physical therapists to be more than just "pain eliminators." Neville was one of the original Clinical Athlete forum members back in the day so we also touch on the evolution of Clinical Athlete.

Enjoy!

Clinical Athlete FB Community: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/18Aso6ht96/
