Laura on Clarity, Self Compassion and Energy

This is an important conversation about what happens after the initial flush of sobriety. What happens if quitting alcohol unearths other things to address? The cover image sums up Laura perfectly. She’s vibrant, funny and full of life but after the 100 day milestone she was struggling.

Having gone sober in the past she knew that this was the point she often returned to drinking telling herself that “I feel rubbish so what’s the point?”. This time though she got help. She was supported to dig deeper and to addresses the underlying issue.

Now she’s back to her wonderfully bubbly self and her sobriety is stronger as a result. Sometimes drinking masks things that need to be dealt with.

Louisa is a psychology-based practitioner and therapist based in the UK and works with clients worldwide via Zoom.
