[…] The slough that they thought he might have went into, that's all been mowed and hayed. Most all the slough ground, the thing is, that year it was really wet here. So there was a lot of water. The ditches were full of water. A lot of the roads were hard to drive. because of the water. And in this particular area, a lot of the roads there have been closed and there's no maintenance on them because of the slough and the water. It hasn't been farmed for a long time. There's big sloughs. One mile road goes for like three or four miles. There's not even a road. So it's a pretty remote area with a lot of mud and sloughs. […]
