Lo que he aprendido este año enseñando español / What I've learned this year teaching Spanish

¿Por qué sigues dudando entre iba o fui? / Why are you still hesitating between "Iba" or "Fui"?

Entonces, <strong>aparecen las dudas.</strong></p><p> </p><p>A veces dudan. Otras veces utilizan el tiempo verbal equivocado sin darse cuenta.</p><p> </p><p>Y lo curioso es que esto<strong> no solo ocurre en niveles intermedios</strong>. También pasa en niveles avanzados.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Y con las dudas llega la frustración.</strong></p><p> </p><p>Dudar no es necesariamente algo malo. No quiere decir que estés estancado en tu español, de hecho, muchas veces es precisamente lo contrario. </p><p> </p><p>Quiere decir que has llegado a una fase muy interesante en la que no te conformas con sobrevivir, quieres vivir el español.</p><p> </p><p>Quieres hablar con precisión, sonar más natural, quieres contar bien las cosas. No te conformas con que te entiendan. Y eso es fantástico.</p><p> </p><p><strong>A veces</strong>, para poner solución a ese aparente estancamiento, a esas dudas,<strong> solo necesitas </strong>parar un momento.<strong> Tiempo para ordenar tus ideas y tus conocimientos. Other times they use the wrong verb tense without realizing it.</p><p> </p><p>And the curious thing is that <strong>this doesn't only happen at intermediate levels</strong>. It also happens at advanced levels.</p><p> </p><p>And with doubt comes frustration.</p><p> </p><p>Having doubts isn't necessarily a bad thing. It doesn't mean you're stuck in your Spanish; in fact, many times it's precisely the opposite.</p><p> </p><p>It means you've reached a very interesting phase where you're not content with just surviving; you want to live Spanish.</p><p> </p><p>You want to speak precisely, sound more natural, you want to tell stories well. You're not satisfied with just being understood. And that's fantastic.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Sometimes,</strong> to overcome that apparent stagnation, those doubts<strong>, you just need to stop for a moment. Time to organize your thoughts and your knowledge.
